TEPEN 2022 is successfully held!

The 2022 Annual Conference of The Efficiency and Performance Engineering Network (TEPEN-2022) was successfully held on 18-21 Aug 2022, which is co-organised by Beijing Information Science and Technology University (BISTU) and Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology (IMUST). The conference provides an effective platform for scientists, engineers, scholars, and students to exchange research ideas and engineering knowledge in the field of condition monitoring and fault diagnostics.

In this special period of COVID-19 pandemic, the conference was held in a mixed mode, including in person attendance (Baotou City) and online attendance. The conference has welcomed many participants from over 10 countries and regions, over 80 onsite participants and more than 70 online attendees. In addition to the distinctive keynote speeches and parallel sessions, the conference specially organized a senior academic forum in which 10 top research groups have shared their recent research and future directions on the network. Especially, Professor Andrew Ball, key founder of TEPEN, has delivered a keynote speech of ‘The Future of Research Assessment and the Future of Research Itself’, in which he has shared important advice to be a more successful researcher in next 10 years.
